Driving around and about Mondamin you’ll encounter a beautiful city park in a small town with big a heart and an even bigger backyard to explore! We are located at the western foot of the Loess Hills in Harrison County, IA.  Mondamin is bordered by Interstate 29, part of the Lewis and Clark Trail, to the west and Loess Hills National Scenic Byway to the east.  We also host a busy Farm-to-Market highway through town.  Many motorcyclists, bicyclers, automobiles, and truckers drive Highway 127 through Mondamin. 

Our little town is almost 400 residents strong and Mondamin Community Partners has two immediate goals in mind to make our town even better. We would love to greet you, our visitors, with a warm ‘Welcome to Mondamin’ sign on the east edge of town. Secondly, many residents and visitors use the city park as a place to picnic, play on the playground equipment, stretch, walk and cool off in the splash pad. A new handicap accessible bathroom for all to use is needed for the Mondamin City Park.
