Who are we?

Mondamin Community Partners is a certified 501c3 organization created to enhance the well being of our residents and to promote development of our community.

Dear Business Friends and Residents:

Recently the non-profit organization, Mondamin Community Partners, was formed to “enhance the well being of our residents and to promote development of our community.” Like many small towns our size, stores have closed and houses are empty or uninhabitable.

Our initial group of concerned members met and all kinds of ideas both big and small were discussed to work toward bringing change to our small town. The first task taken on by the group was to find a way to purchase Christmas decorations for the Mondamin City Park. We asked for and received donations, both monetary and used decorations.

We had a great turnout to help decorate the park and then planned a family event to kick off the Christmas season with Light up the Park on November 26th. We invited the community to come to the park for hot chocolate, cookies, to see the lights and to see Santa and Mrs. Claus and two of their reindeer! Thanks to Armodus for sponsoring the reindeer visit! Everyone had a great time. Several people had never seen a reindeer before. That was our beginning!

Some of our next plans include building a welcome sign at the east entrance of town.  Remodeling or replacing the existing bathroom in the park. And our list goes on and on. This letter is simply our way of introducing ourselves to you so when you hear the name Mondamin Community Partners you will know a little about our group.  As we grow and take on more projects to promote and develop our community, we hope you’ll consider being our partner.
